I have done many day trip snorkeling trip, from an organisation and communication perspective this was by far the best. On the actual day, there was a safety briefing and also an equipment check (not common) the day was well explained and then before the first snorkel Colin explained what fish and Coral we may see and then took time while in the water to point it out. The visibility wasn’t great due to the time of year but I still felt safe (we changed our first snorkel spot due to strong current). Thoroughly impressed with all aspect of this trip. On the date of my original booking I was offered a discount because of unfortunate weather, but was also asked if I had any options for alternate days. Thankfully I still had some days left on the island, and rebooking my trip was super smooth. As a result, I got a much better experience in lovely clear and calm water! Communication in advance of the trip was generally truly top notch, by far exceeding my expectations! I felt completely safe, and well informed enough to properly prepare for the trip. The guides were great, serving professionalism while still being fun and jovial. The equipment was also of great standard. I particularly appreciated the attention to the safety and comfort of all participants; everyone's swimming level was gauged carefully and accomodations made where necessary. As a result, anyone from experienced and confident swimmers to complete beginners can enjoy this trip. The focus on environmentalism and coral protection was also very much appreciated. It feels better to know that I got to appreciate the beauty of these places with minimal negative impact. And the tour really did take us to lesser visited places! On the first stop, we were one of two boats there. On the second, we had the location entirely to ourselves! This was my first time seeing coral reefs in real life, and it was a truly magical experience. I would absolutely go again if I could, and fully recommend this company!

This was a great snorkeling tour. I've been snorkeling quite a few times before and feared that the wildlife in Phu Quoc would not be that interesting, but I was pleasantly surprised. We saw a lot of wildlife and varieties of coral and it was only half a day. The guides were friendly and professional. They gave us thorough instructions before our arrival so we felt well prepared when we arrived. I was impressed that they could accommodate multiple skill levels. Our group had first-timers who could not swim as well as experienced snorkelers and we all had a good time. The equipment was high quality and the crew was happy to swap out something if it did not work for you. The snorkels had good valves to prevent backflow. This company is also far more responsible than other tour companies we saw while out on the water. I applaud OnBird's efforts toward conservation and responsible ecotourism but I fear they are in the minority locally. Next time we're in Phu Quoc I'll book another tour. They tell me there's much more reef to see.
